Levi’s Ultimatum. Purgatory Masters Book 2. Eliza Gayle.

I’d read and enjoyed book one, and needed to refresh my mind over the background story before starting book two. The background story guiding much of the characters actions is quite complex, and needs to be understood in order to follow the story. These are not just erotic D/s novels, but have so much more to enjoy with the background story that’s being revealed as the series unfolds. I find it fascinating wondering what’s going to happen next and what the brothers will do. Levi had been away from the town and his business for over ten years, and has decided to return. By chance he meets Tori and her daughter and is entranced – then he sees her acting as a Domme in the club, and knows his instinct isn’t wrong, she’s not Domme but a sub and he wants her for his sub. Of course the romance flows smoothly…or not 🙂 I do like some angst in among the love! They are both attracted but she has history that makes her very cautious and protective of her daughter, and he’s part of the complicated backstory surrounding the brothers actions many years previously. Levi is persistent though and won’t give up,keeps working at her every time she gets cold feet. There’s more at stake though than just his secrets, and with the appearance of someone from Tori’s past the story heats up dramatically.
Its a great read. The sex is hot, sensual and very erotic, and the back story very believable. Its incredibly frustrating not knowing the whole story, only getting it revealed in tiny bites but that’s magic on Eliza’s part as I really really want to know all of it, and when the series is complete I know its one of those I’ll enjoy re reading straight through, no waiting for next book, no having to refresh my mind about the story. Can’t wait for more books! Priced at £3.45 for 195 pages, 402kb, and its one to join my keeper files
Stars: well, I really got engrossed this time, had a slow start last time as I was getting to know the storyline but this book – really good and a full five from me.
