A Vampire’s Soul, Carla Susan Smith.

A Vampire’s Soul, Carla Susan Smith.
Review from jeannie zelos book reviews

Well, loved book one but that finish, arrghhh I hate being left like that, dammed cliff-hangers… and I just couldn’t imagine how Carla was going to make it right. What excuse could Gabriel have for his behaviour? But of course, like all terrific authors she pulls the answers out and makes the unbelievable seem believable….clever stuff.

Again a cracking romance, with danger, sensual and sexy interludes and a host of great characters. I love vampire romance and this was something that bit different. Rowan is Gabriel’s Promise, but she doesn’t know what that is and it seems no one can/will tell her. Gradually though her memory returns in fits and starts, and she begins to piece together just what it means. Its a beautiful premise, and a real Love story where people in love are willing to do and forgo so much for Love. I’m a sap I know…I just love stuff like that. Of course there’s the deranged and sadisticly jealous Katja to deal with, and Rowan needs to watch out as she’s a vampire with a mission..to make Gabriel hers whatever he thinks about it.
A great read, full of emotion and drama – just the sort I love. There’s the humans and vampires we’ve already met, with some new supernatural characters in this book too. They aren’t always what they seem, and what they speak isn’t necessarily the truth. Rowan needs to be very careful what she agrees to, and how she does it. Together with the first book it’ll join my keepers file for re reading. It’s a decent length too at 288 pages, that allows for some in depth insights and revelations!
Stars: Five, great read.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
