Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Its a girls worst nightmare isn’t it? The quick ( well, week long as it turns out!) fling who reappears in a position of importance in your life. Poor Thea, that letting go has really come back to bite her. What about Levi though? Its not exactly roses all the way for him. He’s worked hard to get where he is, and an affair with a student isn’t exactly recommended at this stage in his career.
Levi and Thea are great leads, both very realistic people, and the sexuality between them feels very sensual and as though they have some kind of magnetic pull. Its not overdone though, the balance of should we/will we and risk is perfect. When we learn more about them both their life gets even more complicated, and we see the secrets its clear Thea is hiding are even greater than suspected. She’s not the only one hiding things though – two of her fellow students are too. I really liked the way the three students went from enemies to friends, it kind of mirrors real life where when working in close contact people learn more than just face appearance about others and it changes their views of them.
Its a solid story, lots of hot sex but for me I need that story and here I got it. Its based around one main plot, but as that opens up it spreads like a web, bringing in other people and events. It’s not one of those condensed into a couple of days, but covers several months and that makes the time lines so much more realistic. The events are able to be revealed in the proper time span and context this way too – so many books cram everything into just a few days that its great to read one where things are allowed to play out in a natural manner. This was a fun read, and a decent escape for a couple of hours which I’d recommend if you like a good story, a romance with some mystery to puzzle out and plenty of erotic and sensual sex scenes.
Stars: Five, a fun read which I really enjoyed.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
